Strawberry Sorbet

Lately I’ve been trying to stay as active as possible without having access to a gym. So running on the trail and indoor yoga are my top workouts right now. But this still doesn’t feel like enough movement to level up to my usual fitness routine, so I’m doubling up efforts in the kitchen!

Keep feeling fresh and energized with this strawberry flavored sorbet packed with fruit and healthy sugars + a little protein. It’s only 5 ingredients and takes 2 minutes to prep. I’d suggest making sure you have enough frozen strawberries on hand or chop them up and throw them in the freezer for 3-4 hours before making your sorbet.

Ingredients

  • 3 c. frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 4 Tbs. raw honey
  • 2 Tbs. agave
  • 1 Tbs. almond butter

Put all ingredients in blender. Pour mixture into glass bowl. Place in freezer for 2-4 hours. Serve & enjoy : )

p.s. I’d recommend leaving the sorbet in the freezer for a maximum of 4 hours, since it’s meant to have a sorbet – like consistency. This will ensure a smooth texture. You’ll know it’s ready when you can easily scoop the sorbet, and it keeps its spherical shape once dropped into a serving glass.
