Seattle is known for its coffee. If you’re in town, you could spend weeks trying out all the local shops. The most highly visited option to visit is the original Starbucks located in Pike Place Market. While that option is great, it’s usually got a line packed out the door and down the length of the street, not to mention the coffee tastes the same as well, any other Starbucks. So here’s a list of a few shops to visit instead of the one everyone knows about.
Storyville Pike Place
Storyville coffee is located in the historic Pike Place Market. If it’s your first time stopping in you get a signature Storyville mug in either brown or white. I took my parents here when they visited and the mug souvenirs are frequent morning coffee cups in the house. They have some great pastry and breakfast sandwich items as well. Make sure to go early though, as there’s usually a line and it does fill up quick in terms of seating.
Mr. West
This epic avocado toast is just one of many items on the Mr. West breakfast menu. The shop is filled with plants, plenty of natural light, and even has a bar for when happy hour hits.
